Are Matthew Dellavedova and Brendan Haywood the most random best friends ever? A 24 year old Australian guy and a 35 year old 7  foot journeyman became best friends right under our noses. We’re all focused on Lebron/Kyrie/Love’s chemistry and we totally missed the budding relationship between our backup point guard and our 7th string Center. A real life Odd Couple.

Question: Does every player on the Cavs have their own personal handshake with every fellow player? Is that a thing? If that’s not a thing then this pairing of Delly & Haywood is the strangest twosome I’ve ever seen in my life.

Remember when Kyrie and Kevin Love’s “sharpening mustaches” handshake got all the press in November? That’s nothing compared to this.

We speak in hyperbole a lot on this site but I can honestly say this handshake is about a billion times more interesting than Kyrie and K-Love’s. I have so many questions and don’t know where to start… What is this handshake referencing? When did it start? Do other players do this same handshake? Are Delly and Haywood best friends? When did they become best friends? Do they hang out on the weekends? Can they teach it to me? Can I hang out on weekends too?
