Someone found Ryan Merritt’s wedding registry. In the middle of Game 5.

Sometimes, the Internet rules.

At some point during his 4.1 inning masterpiece yesterday afternoon, someone found Ryan Merritt and his fiance Sarah’s wedding registry.  Indians Twitter took it from there.

It looks like @sportsyelling sort of spearheaded the whole thing, so head over there for more of those tweets.

They’re registered at Pottery Barn and Target, and there’s plenty of good items still available to be fulfilled.

Somebody bite the bullet and get them the Beachcomber Low Rectangular basket. They deserve it.

Start Your Day By Listening To Tom Hamilton Call The Final Out Of The ALCS

When I die, instead of sad music at my funeral, I want this 30 second clip of Hammy calling the final out of the ALCS on repeat as they lay my casket into the ground. Tom brings it strong here as always. (As he did throughout the year)

Thankfully the Indians got this series done in 5 games so we won’t have to listen to the TBS broadcast anymore. If I had to be subjected to Ron Darling’s blabbering for 1 or 2 more games I think I would have just ended it.

On to Chicago/Los Angeles

VIDEO: Trevor Bauer was behind the scenes again in Boston with his GoPro

A much more professional celly than the pandemonium that followed clinching the division in Detroit a few weeks ago. Pop a couple bottles, have a couple cold ones, but this is only step 1 of 3. I like that.

I also like Kip around the 5:45 mark.

And Bauer’s answer to Matty Underwood’s question.

“What’s it say about this pitching staff as a whole to hold the highest scoring team in the league to 7 runs?”

“We’re good. We’re really good.”

Yeah we are.

See you all Friday.

USA baby.
