Electric. Powerful. The voice of a generation. His name is George Shea and how he isn’t the voice of everything everywhere is one of humanity’s biggest crimes. Just incredible pipes. He puts Bruce Buffer to shame.

As for the contest itself, Matt Megatoad Stonie dethroned the champ Joey Chestnut by downing 62 dogs compared to Chestnut’s 60. A huge upset. This has all the makings of one of our nation’s next greatest rivalries. Think UNC-Duke x 100. The next few July 4th’s will be some for the ages, folks.

It’s officially 4th of July Weekend and you can be damn sure we won’t be doing any work around here. To get you ready to celebrate your independence, here are a bunch of pictures that’ll be sure to get your red white and blue blood flowing.
