Kyrie Irving’s new Foot Locker commercial? Meh. (Give me back Uncle Drew!!)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BypN1RdzxI

I give it a 7. Needs Ice T and Kyrie interacting. It seems like this is just the first in line of a couple commercials with Kyrie and Ice T, hopefully that’s the case. Anytime your first commercial is a classic like Pepsi’s Uncle Drew, people start to expect the best every time. The bar was set high in the beginning… This was good, I laughed at the “it only took 9 takes” part, but I need a little pizzazz from Kyrie next time.

Still the GOAT. I remember watching this not knowing who Uncle Drew was at first then being absolutely floored when it turned out to be Kyrie. The dude has range, Foot Locker. Let him showcase it.

Carl’s Jr. becomes the first major fast food chain to offer an all natural burger

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WTA_8waxTo

In a news cycle being dominated by #DeflateGate and comments made by idiots regarding American Sniper, it’s a breath of fresh air to see Carl’s Jr. as a beacon of morals and ethics. Giving the public a burger with no antibiotics, no added hormones, and no steroids. Just doing their best to save lives and be looked upon as some of the good guys.

Cheeseburgers aren’t the healthiest food out there, so what Carl’s Jr. is doing is nothing short of a valiant and courageous act. According to Men’s Health:

“The combination of high fat, high salt and refined carbohydrates tastes great,” says Majmudar. What’s more, because such foods have so many calories, they’ll cause a blood-sugar spike, which then leads to a rapid drop – creating the craving for more food and leading to a vicious cycle, she says.

A study in the journal Obesity found that most fast foods contain extremely high levels of transfatty acids, which can lead to obesity, type 2 diabetes and coronary disease. What’s worse, individuals who ate fast food regularly had a much lower intake of cereals, grains and – no surprises here – fruits and vegetables, according to a study in the Journal of the American Dietetic Association.

Carl’s Jr. doesn’t need any gimmicks or catchy advertisements to sell their products. They do stuff the right way. Saving lives, making delicious juicy burgers, and filming Super Bowl commercials.

If you believe anything I wrote at the top you’re a moron. Put your tongue back in your mouth and take a deep breath. Her name is Charlotte McKinney and Here’s her Instagram. If you could buy stock in swimsuit models, you’d be smart to empty your bank account on Charlotte here. She’s the next Kate Upton. You’re welcome.

PS- We’re a sports site. This is a Super Bowl ad. The Super Bowl is sports. Sports is the Super Bowl. This is relevant and important.

There’s a #DeflateGate joke in here somewhere, I just don’t know where.

Charles Ramsey may get an Oscar for his performance in this commercial

This video was posted in August but is just now making the rounds. Has anyone seen it on TV? I haven’t and that’s a crime in and of itself. When you think of classic commercials your mind always goes to the Budweiser Clydesdales; the Mean Joe Green Coke ad; all the E*Trade baby ones; and the Cindy Crawford Pepsi commercial; etc etc. Well you better make room for one more because Charles Ramsey for Adams Bail Bonds wants a seat at the table. The performance Charles gives here is transcendent and breathtaking. The delivery of his lines, his scene presence, his blurred out Cavs outfit… all stuff worthy of big time national commercial recognition. It wouldn’t surprise me if later down the road we see Charles slowly drinking that Pepsi in a white beater and short jean shorts or shouting “Bud-Weis-Er” like those frogs. This commercial is just the start of an illustrious film career.

All joking aside it’s nice to see him making some money off of his name.
