A list of reasons why Corey Kluber should win the Cy Young today

The AL and NL Cy Young awards will be announced today around 3:45 PM on MLB Network. Here’s a little list of reasons why Corey Kluber should triumph over Seattle’s Felix Hernandez and become the first Indians pitcher since Cliff Lee in 2008 to bring home the hardware.

Kluber needed only 85 pitches to record a complete game shutout against, you guessed it, Felix Hernandez and the Mariners on July 30 (Hernandez – 7 IP, 2 ER)

It’s too bad Mike Trout exists, or your Cleveland Indians would be sweeping the two biggest awards in the league. I’ll be stunned if Klubedaddy doesn’t win this one today. Pay the man!

These are a couple days old, I know that. This is the first time I’m seeing the video though and I… I don’t know what to think. I guess when you’re the best athlete in the world it’s OK to crossdress and team up with an annoying female car insurance spokesperson and film commercials.

If you were wondering, the Progressive Instagram account only follows one person, and that person is LeBron James… I’ve always wondered if the actress who plays Flo knows that her characters is the most hated TV commercial character of the past 10 years. She has to, right? You don’t go into that role thinking people will love you. I’m sure even the girl who plays Flo is sick of seeing herself on TV or hearing herself on the radio. It’s so weird knowing that Flo isn’t actually a real person and that the actress who plays her isn’t actually named Flo and doesn’t actually work at Progressive. She’s a comedian named Stephanie Courtney who has been in a few movies and TV shows. Here’s a bit of her stand up and she’s actually…. kinda funny
