At the Browns v Bucs scrimmage Wednesday morning RG3 dropped back and slung a quick out to Marlon Moore (I think) in the boundary. The pass was a little off target but Marlon probably should have hauled it in.

Yikes. If we’ve got NFL punters getting concussions from getting hit in the head with a ball then imagine the damage an RG3 fastball would have done to an unsuspecting person.

If that ball would have connected with MKC’s face I would have personally flown down to Tampa, raised hell, and stuck RG3’s ass on the practice squad as a strong safety. No one messes with my favorite Browns beat reporter. Sure she wrote a little too much about Johnny’s personal life and once called Jason Campbell elite, but she’s by far and away the best veteran beat reporter the Browns have and it’s not close.

Poor dude. We’ve all been there though. Maybe he had one too many Sugardale hot dogs or one too many Bud Lights and his instincts were a little slower than normal. Happens to the best of us. You try catching a foul ball at an MLB stadium when you’re 9 deep, it ain’t easy.

Not the best day at Progressive Field tonight. Aside from the Indians losing we had that fan getting concussed trying to catch a foul ball; fireworks guys setting off fireworks after a Royals home run

Poor guy.

 

And our overall attendace during a playoff hunt (kinda) was… ehh

It’s Nice To See Duke Johnson Is Still Alive After This Hit From Saturday

Hey rook, welcome to the NFL. Sure your hamstring might have been hindering you the past couple weeks, but now your brain has the same consistency as a bowl of mashed potatoes and gravy. Good Lord. Sucks for Duke too because with the NFL’s new concussion policy, he’ll probably be out for awhile. Hopefully he’s back in time for the Jets game but who knows.

Fred Jackson just got released by the Bills and I’ve gotta think he’d be a good fit here with the Browns. A veteran in a young running back crop would help us out immensely. Plus Pettine is familiar with Fred from when he coached in Buffalo so you have to think a call has probably been made. I’d probably cut Terrance West, even though no running back has separated themselves and no one seems worthy of being RB1. I just don’t think Terrance really has any skills that differentiate himself from the other backs. I doubt he gets cut but if he does, I will deeply miss his antics on my Twitter and Instagram feeds. Best social media follow of any Browns player bar none.
