Browns

Nice to see Josh Gordon spending his “vacation” in the gym staying in shape for next season. He doesn’t deserve the benefit of the doubt but maybe, just maybe, he can come back next season bigger, faster, and stronger. Imagine if Touchdown McCown had Gordon split out wide during Sunday’s game, he probably would have thrown for 900 yards.

I’m an admitted Josh Gordon apologist so I’m really really rooting for the dude.

PS- As someone who did crossfit 4 times a week this summer I’ve gotta say his power clean form needs a little work. More hips, faster elbows… Annnnnd with that sentence I’m officially “corrects people’s form at the gym” guy.

PPS- In all honesty Josh has probably been more productive than Dwayne Bowe has this season.

Just a simple video that’ll undoubtedly put a smile on your face. A lot of people criticize Pettine for not showing emotion on the sideline or not being fiery enough during his press conferences so it’s nice to see him letting off some steam in a candid moment after a big road win. Knowing how much work you put in during the week and watching it pay off on Sundays has to be one of the best feelings in the world.

It’s hard to win in the NFL but it’s gotta be a helluva feeling to go into your former employer’s stadium where the Browns haven’t won since 2007 and come away with a win in overtime.

IMO professional teams need to do more of this stuff. Film the locker room celebrations, sideline videos… basically Hard Knocks behind the scenes type content. People eat this stuff up plus it’ll give me something to blog about. It’s a win-win!

Best part is Special Teams coach Chris Tabor running to Pettine giggling like a little schoolgirl

JR Smith continues to dominate this preseason. First he was making halfcourt shots (toe was on the line though) to win a military family $30,000.

Now he’s crushing cotton candy like he’s a 4 year old attending the circus with his parents. He’s inactive tonight so we don’t have to worry about a sugar high affecting his game.

I said it from the moment the Cavs traded for him last season- JR Smith is every blogger’s dream.

C’mon dude, share some with Mozgov. He looks hungry.
