You’ll never need pre-workout again; New Ohio State National Championship Hype Video

I’ve been waiting on pins and needles ever since this little teaser trailer was posted this week:

Friday couldn’t get here quick enough and boy did this not disappoint. One of my favorite things this year has been these trailers every week. It’s hard to get pumped up for the Indianas and Rutgers of the world but every week these got me excited for even the shittiest teams of the Big 10. These last two have been INCREDIBLE. Love that they added a voice to this one (even if it’s Lorde). Enjoy.

Cardale Jones visits kid in a hospital, plays the NCAA Football video game with the kid, and wins 91-35

According to the Zach Smith (Wide Receiver coach of the Ohio State Buckeyes) Buckeye QB Cardale Jones visited a boy in the hospital last night and played him in a friendly little game of NCAA Football. You know what the deal is, athletes visit kids in the hospital, hang out with them, and just generally make their day. It’s an awesome thing.

After leading the Buckeyes to two straight impressive wins, King Cardale is in full on National Championship mode. He takes no prisoners and has no regrets. This is Oregon week. “Win the day” applies to everything he does… including scoring 7 touchdowns as himself, and hanging 91 points in NCAA Football while he plays a kid in the hospital. This is how I want my quarterback to act before the national championship. Laser like focus with a will & determination to do whatever it takes to win.

Things started off poorly for Cardale who allowed two touchdowns on his first two plays on defense

Cardale scored a couple more times before halftime. The route is on.

If you’re keeping score, Cardale went on a 57-8 scoring binge to finish the game. Love it. Can’t wait for Cardale to drop those numbers on Oregon on Monday.

I’m sorry, not Cardale, I mean “QB #12”

The Jetsons come to Cleveland; first drafts of the nuCLEus have been released

From Cleveland.com

CLEVELAND, Ohio, – A residential tower at the nuCLEus project in downtown Cleveland could stand 54 stories– or 647 feet– high, making it the city’s fourth tallest building.

The developers behind the skyline changing nuCLEus proposal filed their first crop of renderings with the city Thursday. The images show how Stark Enterprises of Cleveland and J-Dek Investments Ltd. of Solon hope to fit apartments, offices, stores, restaurants, hotel rooms, parking garages and — possibly — a few dozen condominiums onto a 3-acre site in the Gateway District.

J-Dek and Stark also confirmed that they’ve hired NBBJ as the lead architect on the project, which now carries an estimated price tag of $380 million to $400 million.Bialosky + Partners Architects, a local firm, will assist NBBJ designers from Columbus, New York and Shanghai.

Well holy shit. Is this Cleveland or is this the Capitol of Panem? I’m almost expecting President Snow to come buzzing out of a window in a hovercraft on the way to the ceremony to begin the 75th Hunger Games (aka the Third Quarter Quell for you n00bs out there)

Judging by the fine, eloquent, poignant commenters from the Cleveland.com article you’d think this was the worst piece of architecture ever drawn in the world:

Hey wakeupcle, you just got BURNED, bro!

It’s utopian as fuck and futuristic. I personally love it. This is only the first draft so there’ll be a lot more rendering and designs. I’m excited to see what the final design looks like.
