Iman Shumpert Throwing His Sweaty Towel On Tyronn Lue Is One Of The More Disrespectful Things I’ve Seen

Now most of you who read this site/follow our Twitter account know that we like to joke around and have fun and usually don’t give a lot of “hot takes.” The Cavs are a really good basketball team and will probably win the East and make the NBA Finals.

But that right there? Maybe the most emasculating and disrespectful thing I’ve ever seen. I can usually spin something or make an excuse for someone no matter what it is. Throwing your sweaty towel on anyone is peak disrespect. Shit, it’s disrespectful to throw your towel at a towel boy. But throwing your sweaty towel at your coach in the middle of a game? What? And the fact that it’s Shump makes it even worse. The dude has had a horrible season thus far and isn’t even a starter. I’d maybe almost understand if this was someone in the Big 3. But Shump? Maybe he should start working on throwing passes instead of throwing towels (Hey-O!).

Just please beat the Nets tonight by like 40 so we can talk about other things. This preseason is exhausting.

Cavs Fan Is Caught On Live TV Bawling After Last Night’s Loss To The Rockets

Man. Gotta feel for this poor guy. He’s held strong through all of the subtweets and unfollows and cheating rumors and trade rumors and trips down to Miami and blowout losses to bad teams and chemistry issues… but this was his final straw. Losing to Houston without your team’s best player was just too much. Sometimes you’ve just gotta have a good cry surrounded by 20,000+ people because of a late March regular season basketball game. And sometimes you’ve gotta let the tears flow on national TV. We all do it. This doesn’t make him any less of a man, he’s just preparing himself for the next inevitable Cleveland heartbreak.

But wait…

Imagine those waterworks if the Cavs were in 2nd.

Can We All Just Admit That LeBron Unfollowing The Cavs Account On Twitter Is Weird?

https://twitter.com/kanyecobain/status/712021922138214400

So the big talk around Cleveland and all of the national sports sites is that LeBron apparently unfollowed the Cavs official Twitter account yesterday. Probably not a huge deal. But it’s weird… because people who actually go out of their way to unfollow people are weird, psychotic, and unstable.

I definitely don’t think it means that he’s leaving again or anything but it’s still just one of those odd passive aggressive social media games LeBron likes to play. Who unfollows people on Twitter? Especially the team that employs you? Out of my 6 years on Twitter the only times I’ve ever unfollowed someone is when a Cleveland athlete ends up on another team or when someone becomes too boring. I’m not throwing around unfollows all willy nilly, probably have only unfollowed 4-5 accounts in my Twitter existence.

When you follow someone on Twitter you’re signing a social contract. It’s kind of like marriage- for better or worse, sickness, health, rich, poor, all that stuff. If you can’t handle someone at their worst, you don’t deserve them at their best.

On second thought, maybe LeBron unfollowing the Cavs on Twitter is actually a genius move. It gives something for us idiots to talk about instead of Saturday’s game at Miami, chemistry issues, lack of defense, etc.

Actively rooting for LeBron to unfollow someone on the team now just to see everyone’s reaction.
